La Monnaie has supported the development of this extraordinary dance
school created by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker since its inception in
1995. Today, P.A.R.T.S. is considered as one of the most demanding and
prestigous contemporary dance schools in the world. In the frame of
Ars Musica, la Monnaie and P.A.R.T.S. set up an unprecedented
collaboration between dancers/choreographers from the school, guest
choreographers and musicians of La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra. Over
four evenings, with choreographies created from pieces of modern and
contemporary music, the audience will be able to discover tomorrow’s
new talents in choreography and musicians demonstrating their virtuosity
in the context of a chamber music repertoire they rarely have the chance
to explore.
